The loft had neither a fixed staircase nor insulation. To turn it into a habitable room the floor structure was strengthened and a fixed staircase installed.
The roof was insulated and lined from the inside, two roof windows were fitted and a compact bathroom with shower and toilet was added.
The space was handed over with a poured floor and recessed lighting.
