The owners had bought a house with wonderful character but a layout and services dating from 1932. In fourteen weeks we stripped the property back to its shell, checked the foundation, renewed every service and reorganised the layout.
The original panelled doors, fireplace and window sills were removed, restored and refitted. The rear facade was replaced by a steel glazed wall across the full width.
The house moved from energy label F to label A.
