The sloping roof made the loft almost unusable. A full-width dormer added 14 m² of properly usable floor area.
The dormer was prebuilt in our workshop complete with insulation, frames and cladding. On site the roof was opened, the dormer placed and the whole thing made watertight the same day.
The internal finishing followed two days later.
